Who/What is REACH Ghana?

REACH Ghana stands for the Representatives for Equal Access to Community Health-care in Ghana and is made up of students and professionals interested in  improving the quality of and access to health-care in Ghana.  REACH  believes that local community involvement is integral to its mission. We work  in partnership with stakeholders in improving the Ghanaian health-care system  through sustainable projects while building capacity in communities for  long-term success.  Go to About Us to learn more about REACH.

How do I contribute?

You can donate to REACH here, or join as an active member and participate in our projects. If you can do both, you’re officially a super hero!


Why should I join REACH?

REACH is a network of people who  share the goal of improving health-care in Ghana. Joining will bring  you in contact with young Ghanaians in different aspects of health-care  who share a passion for Ghana. Your membership also gives opportunities  for professional development, networking with professionals and service  (through organized events in Ghanaian communities) and support from the  community of members for your health-care focused projects.  You also  receive access to publications and receive reduced registration fees to  REACH Ghana conferences and other educational events. Most importantly,  you join the effort to strengthen the quality and access to health-care  in Ghana.

How is REACH funded?

REACH combines grants, dues and sustainable economic projects to fund all projects and operations.

What is REACH’s legal status?

REACH is a registered as a Non-Profit Corporation in Washington DC and in Ghana and holds 501c3 status within the United States.

How do I contact REACH?

REACH prefers to use electronic mail correspondence. Please email specific members, project directors or executives using their personal reachghana.org email addresses.
