2011 Screenathon Scheduled for December 29, 2011

We are busy preparing for our end of year screenathon, and we are proud to launch the 2011 website: www.reachscreenathon.kintera.org. Join our dedicated members and volunteers as we show our commitment to service and health in Ghana at Screenathon 2011. This year, Screenathon volunteers will provide medical, dental and other health-care screening, treatment and education to hundreds of inhabitants of Glefe, a slum community near Accra. We are excited to bring meaningful service projects to our volunteers but more importantly, to the women, children and families who need our support.

Volunteers are the heart of REACH, both literally and figuratively. At our December 2010 Screenathon in Glefe, many of our volunteers were those highly skilled in a health-care-related field, however, many others helped using non-medical skills.

REACH welcomes anyone interested in volunteering to come and be a part of this year’s Screenathon. To volunteer, go to www.reachscreenathon.kintera.org. Volunteers may opt to donate an amount of $15.00 to help offset the cost of volunteer shuttles, meals and other logistics. Our volunteers also traditionally participate in online fundraising through their personal screenathon webpages.

VOLUNTEER TODAY! You’ll be glad you did!
